The Feast of the Nativity A.D. 2017
Sunday, December 24 – Christmas Eve
Children’s Service 3 p.m.
This service looks a lot like a Christmas Pageant, but is actually quite different.
It is not a performance by children, rather it is a worship experience designed for them. Bring young children dressed as animals (any kind), angels, or shepherds. Older children help tell the story so the younger children can go to Bethlehem in their imaginations.
The Christ Mass 11 p.m.
A solemn service with candle light, and the choir, favorite Christmas carols for the congregation, prayers at the manger, sermon by the rector.
Monday, December 25 – Christmas Day (one service only)
Christmas Eucharist 10 a.m.
The simple celebration of the day, with congregational carols and sermon by the rector.
Sunday, December 31st – The First Sunday of Christmas (one service only)
Lessons and Carols with Holy Eucharist at the 10 a.m. service.
