St. John’s is currently seeking a priest-in-charge (PIC) to build upon our solid financial and spiritual foundation and to help us grow into the future. We believe this means:

• Recruiting and involving young families while continuing to strongly support and value current parishioners of all ages, demographics, and talents.

• A focus on Sunday worship and responsiveness to a range of pastoral needs of the parish.

• Receiving communion (we are striving to have three Holy Eucharist services per month).

• Sermons that clearly connect the readings to real world experiences and challenges to us as Christians in today’s world.

• Strengthening our links to the surrounding North Haven and greater New Haven communities through a range of outreach and collaborative activities designed to serve those in greatest need.

• Embracing the welcoming and caring environment that already exists at St. John’s, while remaining open to exploring new ideas and approaches to stimulate involvement of all parishioners so that we can flourish as a faith community.
